I'm sorry.
No, I mean it. I am truly sorry.
The sad kind of sorry. The remorseful, I cried a few tears kind.
I had good intentions. I really did. Once I started I just got in too deep.I realize now that I shouldn't have done it.
I even apologized to you and Daddy for my actions.

I will make you a promise.

Mommy will never

come near your curls again.

I'm a hack and cannot be trusted with scissors.
Your beautiful curls are but a memory of what they were last night.

They will grow back.
I hope.
Love, Mommy

  1. awww i still think he looks adorable! he curls may not be as long but you can definitely tell he still has them!

  2. Awww Sweets! They look just fine.. Thank goodness he has the curls that spring back and not be completly cut out to nothing but strait hair. I promise, it looks so cute! I wouldn't lie to you.. you know that. :)

  3. Oh man...that has to be a pregnant thing. Last year when I was pregnant with Seth I went crazy and buzzed all of Jace's curls off. We both cried. =)

  4. cut it!! It still looks REALLY, REALLY cute, but I have to admit, I'm a sucker for longer hair! Drew had his first haircut in January and hasn't been back since if that tells you anything!

  5. From the looks of the pictures, he didn't seem to mind and it looks like you did a fine job. And yes, the curls will come back, so no worries.

  6. Awww, he looks cute in every picture, less curls or not! :)

  7. He's still cute as a button with his shorter curls.

  8. Don't beat yourself up, he is still toooooo adorable! But I do love a curly haired little boy!!

  9. AW, they will grow back soon enough. :)

  10. Oh, those curls! He looks great, even after the cut!
My youngest has beautiful curls, and I am so afraid of even trimming her hair. She'll be 10 before her first cut...

  11. I totally understand (tho Natey has the curls I only DREAMED of Itty Bit having)...
but he still looks totally happy with that huge smile of his...
    They'll grow back :)

  12. His hair seems like it will remain curly like I don't think a small hair cut will hurt them. They still look great! He is so cute. Love that smile.

  13. Awh Kameron He is just too cute for words! I think that you will just help out those curls by giving them this trim!

  14. He looks like such a big boy...and I think the cut suits him!!! I understand how you feel about your big boy losing his curls tho...just wait till that sweet little girl gets here...he will seem ginormous!!! ;)

  15. He is adorable either way my dear! Those eyes and cheeks do me in!

  16. Wow! Someone had a moment of insanity! He is still a cutie!!! Pregnant women should not be allowed near hair and scissors. That is why I have crazy bangs right now. The curls will come back I'm sure! : )

  17. Lol, i hope they will grow back too!

  18. Ahhh, I still love it! And yes, it will grow back. Amazing that he went this long without a hair cut! I wish Aidan had SOME curl, but no such luck with Chad and me as his parents!

I'm thinking about your blog... we'll need to change up the pictures soon to add baby girl!

  19. NNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How could you?! Cosmetology is sooo not your thing girl, back away from the scissors slowly.

    Promise me, never again.

What you talkin' bout Willis??
